Scope
The Hellenic Journal of Surgery (HJS) is a quarterly published, peer-reviewed academic journal, which publishes cutting-edge papers focusing on clinical practice and research in all fields of surgery.
The HJS publishes high quality articles of original clinical and laboratory-based research on every aspect of general surgery. Developing fields such as robotic surgery, minimally invasive surgery, interventional radiology and surgical endoscopy are strongly supported. Besides original articles, the journal publishes reviews, case reports, “how I do it” articles, surgical history articles, brief communications, perspectives and editorials.
The HJS welcomes authors representing a wide spectrum of surgical specialties from all over the world. Apart from surgical specialties, authors with surgery-related specialties, such as interventional radiologists, endoscopists and medical oncologists would be encouraged to contribute.
Objective
The HJS is the official scientific journal of the Hellenic Surgical Society. Its main objective is promoting continuous advancement of surgical science through sharing of knowledge, ideas and high-quality clinical practice across specialties.
